Biden's Alarm Bell: What He Told Celebs About a Second Trump Term

The 2024 presidential election will be a watershed moment in American history, according to President Joe Biden, who, at a star-studded Los Angeles fundraiser on Saturday night, issued a series of dire warnings about the consequences of a second Trump administration.

A key point, according to the president, is institutions. What Trump did on January 6 and his current threats of a slaughter in the event of a loss are ridiculous. Holy cow, what he’s describing is ridiculous.

An spokesperson from Biden’s team told AWN that the event, which featured former president Barack Obama, brought in almost $30 million for his reelection campaign. Television host Jimmy Kimmel presided over the discussion between Obama and Biden.

During his remarks on Saturday night, Biden made it clear that he believes there may be opportunities for conservative justices to be appointed to the Supreme Court in the next four years, should Trump be reelected.

The notion that he will nominate two additional flying flags upside down if he is reelected, Biden stated, seemingly alluding to a flag that was formerly flown outside Justice Samuel Alito’s residence. “It is one of the scariest parts,” Biden said in response to Kimmel’s question about whether he thought this was the most terrifying aspect of a second Trump term.

The president made the comment when addressing the Supreme Court’s current state of discord, saying, “The Court has never been as out of kilter as it is today, I mean never.” He was referring to the decision that reversed Roe v. Wade and the statements made by Justice Clarence Thomas, who proposed reconsidering previous rulings, including those concerning contraception. “Including gay rights,” someone shouted from the audience, prompting Biden to retort, “Not on my watch.”

In light of indications that Trump is making progress in closing the funding gap, the Biden team has been seeking to increase his financial war chest. As the year has progressed, Biden has raised more money than Trump has. However, after receiving the Republican nomination in March, the former president has experienced a substantial increase in his fundraising. It was in April when Trump raised more money than Biden.

To vote against anything in this election would be a mistake, Obama declared. Someone has our attention. Furthermore, we ought to be worried about an entire agenda. However, we can be proud of the fact that Joe has done outstanding work.

During her remarks, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden echoed these sentiments, stating that her husband “honors the rule of law instead of trying to bend it to his own will”. Inspiring people all throughout the globe to stand up for freedom and democracy.

Saying, “Trump has told us again and again why he wants the White House,” she continued by arguing that a second Trump term would be unsafe. In order to provide himself complete authority. So he can avoid punishment for his illegal acts. So he can get beyond the democratic protections that are in his way.

Using the phrase “When bullies threaten our loved ones, we don’t just stand by,” the first lady implied that Trump is aggressive and violent. She went on to say that Trump was seeing “exactly how we deal with bullies” from the crowd. We refuse to back down or ignore the danger. We are present. This is our voice.

Obama makes a case for his “core values”

Obama bemoaned the fact that some Americans have “normalized behavior that used to be disqualifying,” alluding to Trump’s recent conviction in his criminal hush money case.

In court, Obama stated, “We have the spectacle of the nominee of one of the two major parties sitting in court and being convicted by a jury of his peers on 34 counts.” The crowd applauded and Obama continued. Because of its involvement in “monkey business,” his foundation is no longer permitted to function. … Obama made the statement after his organization was charged with tax evasion.

Interjecting, Biden said, “He paid none.”

In response to Kimmel’s question regarding “Trump amnesia,” Biden stated, “All you got to do is remember what it was like” during Trump’s four years in office, bringing up Trump’s suggestion that people inject bleach to cure COVID-19.

Obama went on to say that people who are “conservatively predisposed” should think about the “core values” that made America great, such as “basic honesty,” even if they disagree with Democrats.

After Trump claimed to have done more for Black people than any president before him, Kimmel wanted to know Obama’s thoughts on the matter. The first Black president was made to feel even better, Obama said, citing one of his actions.

At the star-studded gathering, jokes fly.

Julia Roberts and George Clooney kicked off the evening’s events. The event was hosted by Barbra Streisand, who introduced First Lady Jill Biden. Other performers included Jason Bateman, Jack Black, Kathryn Hahn, and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

“What can the president do to, say, a talk show host who has been mocking him every single night?” Kimmel questioned Biden when discussing the possibility of Trump’s second term in office.

“Are you familiar with Delta Force?” The concept that he has genuinely threatened retaliation,” Biden said in a more serious tone after making a joke. The USA, where I am standing. Is this the first time you’ve ever heard anything remotely similar? His intention, he stated, was “retribution,” or taking revenge on those who wronged him.

Kimmel further brought attention to the fact that Biden has expressed a desire to revive the nation’s spirit. An exorcism may be necessary, it seems. Did you go see the pope for that reason?

“Yeah,” Biden responded.
