In a post on X, business entrepreneur Elon Musk stated that Reform UK Party leader Nigel Farage does not “have what it takes” and should be replaced.
“The Reform Party requires a new leader.” Farage does not have what it takes,” Musk wrote in a tweet.
Farage, a member of the UK parliament, disagreed.
“Well, this is surprising! Elon is a fantastic man, but I must disagree on this point. “My view remains that Tommy Robinson is not appropriate for Reform, and I never compromise my principles,” he tweeted.
Musk has spoken out in support of Robinson, who is now in prison.
However, Farage has stated that he does not want Robinson to join the Reform UK Party.
According to Farage, Robinson is in prison for “contempt of court” rather than “exposing grooming gangs.”
“I know he’s in prison for contempt of court ffs, but there is NO justification for such a long prison sentence or for solitary confinement!” Musk wrote in a post on X.
Reports say that Robinson’s real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.
Musk, who passionately supported President-elect Donald Trump in America’s 2024 presidential election, has stated that if Trump had not won, “civilization would be lost.”
