Behind the Podium: Uncovering the Third GOP Debate

At the Republican primary debate next month, the contenders will square off against one another for the third time. With stricter debate standards in place, there will be fewer candidates participating this time around.

According to AWN’s GOP presidential debate tracker, four candidates have so far qualified for the third debate, leaving the rest scrambling to get over the finish line before the deadline on November 6.

The following is all we know at this time regarding the impending debate:
When will the third Republican debate take place?

On Wednesday, November 8th, between 8 and 10 p.m. EST, the third Republican debate will take place.
Where can I find the debate online?

NBC News’s television, streaming, and digital platforms (including NBCNews.com) will all broadcast the discussion live. The debate will also be available on Rumble, a popular video-sharing website among conservatives.
In what location will the debate take place?

The next discussion will take place in Miami, Florida, at the Adrienne Arsht Centre for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.
Who will be the debate’s moderator?

TBD. At a later time, we’ll reveal who’ll be moderating the discussion.
In order to participate in the third debate, what requirements must you meet?

In order to qualify for the next round of voting in the early primary states, candidates need to receive at least 4 percent of the popular vote in two separate nationwide polls. To qualify for the debates, candidates need to raise $70,000 from 70,000 donors by November 6.
What candidates have made it into the third Republican debate?

So far, we have ex-President Donald Trump, current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, successful businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, and outgoing United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Chris Christie, ex-governor of New Jersey, and Mike Pence, ex-vice president of the United States, have enough polling support but need another 70,000 donations to win. Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has to raise $70,000 and achieve a nationwide polling number of 4%.

Trump has missed the last two Republican debates despite being the national frontrunner in the polls. His team has stated emphatically that the RNC should postpone any and all upcoming primary debates so that they can concentrate on “our fire on Crooked Joe Biden and quit wasting time and money that could be going to evicting Biden from the White House.”
