Biden’s Diagnosis Prompts Stirring Cancer Comment From Obama

The terrible news of Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis has prompted comments from former presidents Obama, Clinton, and Trump.

Michelle and I are keeping the Biden family in our thoughts. Joe has done more than anybody else to discover new cures for cancer in all its kinds, and I have no doubt that he will face this obstacle with the same poise and determination that has served him well. Obama expressed his hope for a speedy and complete recovery in his social media tweets.

From the beginning of Obama’s presidency in 2009 to the beginning of 2017, Biden was the vice president.

A statement sent on Sunday by his personal office confirmed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer last week.

Following a worsening of his urine complaints, President Joe Biden saw a doctor last week, who discovered a prostate nodule. His prostate cancer was identified with a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) and bone metastases on Friday. The cancer seems to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for appropriate care, even if this represents a more aggressive type of the illness. According to the statement, the president and his family are currently discussing treatment options with their doctors.

Joe Biden’s new illness diagnosis has affected Melania and me. Joe was wished a speedy and complete recovery, and he also expressed his deepest sympathies to Jill and her family in a post on Truth Social.

Additionally, the Clintons made remarks.

Someone who has always been a warrior is my friend Joe Biden. Bill Clinton made it clear that he and Hillary are supporting him and that he, Jill, and their family are in their thoughts and prayers.

I’m sending positive thoughts to the Bidens as they fight cancer, a condition they’ve worked tirelessly to prevent for countless families. In social media tweets, former secretary of state and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton—who was defeated by Donald Trump—wishes you a quick and complete recovery.

Biden is 82 years old and resigned from government on January 20 of this year.
