According to Cohen’s testimony, working for Donald Trump was a pleasure. In order to get what Trump wanted, he occasionally lied and intimidated, he testified.
What a great time I had working for the Trump Organization,” Cohen gushed. “In many many ways, it was an incredible experience,” he said. Wonderful moments occurred. Although there were a few hiccups, I generally relished the opportunities presented to me.
“It was a big family,” Cohen continued, adding that he “enjoyed the Trump children.”
Cohen admitted, “I did,” when asked whether he lied on occasion for Trump.
“It was necessary to complete the task,” he clarified.
Susan Hoffinger, the prosecutor, inquired, “Did you bully people?”
Affirmative, ma’am,” Cohen responded. “Again, to complete the assignment. “I was solely concerned with completing the task and bringing him joy,” Cohen stated in his testimony.
