This week, Democratic Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett seemed to be capitalizing on her growing political fame by momentarily tweeting what seemed like a fan-made song that called the Democratic firebrand the “leader of the future.”
The morning rouses Jasmine Crockett. “Her light will never go out as long as she fights for justice,” the song said. A powerful and self-assured spokesperson for the people. Her fervor is contagious, and she will never submit. She is a future leader who is freeing herself from all constraints. You are amazing, Jasmine; you must continue to be a trailblazer.
Set to what seemed like softly animated photographs of Crockett created using artificial intelligence (AI), the song lasted around two minutes. Last but not least, Crockett’s remarks at a recent House hearing were included for one minute.
The video was seen by AWN Digital on Crockett’s Instagram Story, where users often publish highlights that vanish after 24 hours. Her Instagram Reels tab also displayed it. Along with another Instagram account that seems to focus on AI-generated musical video clips, Crockett’s official House of Representatives account was identified as a co-author.
Unless the letters “CWC” are visible, Crockett’s staff makes the postings, according to her account. It seems that her account shared the video, but she didn’t publish it herself. Inquiring about Crockett’s involvement in the post’s creation or approval, AWN Digital contacted her office.
No longer does Crockett’s page make reference to the video following AWN Digital’s query.
The song went on to say, “A beacon of hope, we know you won’t deceive,” at one point. Her aim is quite obvious; she is a democratic champion. She will never be far from any citizen. Her demonstration of truth could not be silenced by any MAGA. “You rock, girl,” Jasmine said, continuing to lead the fight.
Republican colleagues in the House have threatened to punish her for her public remarks that have crossed the line of legislative etiquette.
While addressing Texas Governor Greg Abbott—who uses a wheelchair—Crockett made headlines in late March for calling Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels.” Later, she issued a statement in which she explained that she “wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition,” but she refrained from offering an apology.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) accused Crockett of having “fake eyelashes,” and in return, she seemed to capitalize on the feud by calling Greene a “bleach blonde bad built butch body.” This occurred at last year’s House Oversight Committee hearing.
Subsequently, Crockett took steps to register the term as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
