Joe Rogan, a popular podcast presenter, shared further facts regarding his unsuccessful attempt to interview Vice President Kamala Harris before to the election.
“There were some restrictions on what they didn’t want to talk about, but I said, ‘I don’t give an f—, get her in here.'” “Anything you want to talk about,” Rogan stated on a Friday episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
The comments come after Rogan made headlines by backing President-elect Donald Trump the day before the election, a rare acknowledgment to a political candidate from a podcast presenter with a devoted following.
Rogan’s endorsement of Trump came after he appeared on the program in late October and spoke with Rogan for about three hours. Rogan would also interview billionaire Elon Musk, who became a crucial Trump ally near the end of the campaign.
Similar attempts to get Harris on his show were unsuccessful, according to the podcast star, who said Friday that he would have discussed anything to get to know the Democratic presidential candidate.
“I bet there’s someone in there. Rogan responded, “I bet I can get to that person.” “I would love to talk to her about all kinds of s—.”
Rogan had previously stated that there was a last-minute opportunity to meet with Harris before Election Day, but those preparations were scuttled when her team urged Rogan to go to her for only a one-hour interview.
“Also, for the record, the Harris campaign has not passed up doing the podcast,” Rogan remarked the day before the election. “They offered me a date on Tuesday, but I would have had to go to her, and they just wanted to do one hour. “I strongly believe that the best way to do it is in the Austin studio.”
“My honest desire is to simply have a pleasant discussion and get to know her as a human being. “I really hope we can make it happen,” Rogan said.
Rogan also said that Harris’ crew asked him if the broadcast will be modified, which Rogan declined.
“They want to know whether I edit. I said, “There will be no editing.” “We’re not going to edit,” Rogan explained.
Rogan, who has 14.5 million Spotify followers and 17.6 million YouTube followers, claimed that at the end of the day, all he wanted was a chat with Harris, adding that you can learn a lot about someone in a few hours.
“I only wanted to talk. I believe that if you give someone a couple of hours and start chatting about anything, I’ll be able to understand the pattern of your thinking, the way you process information, and whether you’re calculating or just free,” Rogan remarked.
The Harris campaign did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
