Following President Trump’s annual physical, which highlighted his “frequent victories” in golf tournaments as proof of his strong health, the White House physician published a statement on Sunday stating that Trump is “fully fit” to carry out the responsibilities of the office.
The note found that Trump is still in “excellent health.” It contained details of laboratory work, physical tests, and a cognitive test.
The 78-year-old Trump is 75 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds, according to the memo. Both his resting heart rate and blood pressure are excessive; his is 62 bpm and 128/74 mm Hg, respectively.
From his final presidential physical in 2020, when he weighed 244 pounds, he had lost 20 pounds. There has been an improvement in his cholesterol readings since he previously disclosed information about his health.
According to the memo, Trump obtained a score of 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. On Friday, while on route to Florida, the president boasted to reporters that he had “got every answer right” on the famous test that may be used to diagnose “mild cognitive dysfunction.”
Medical professionals found nothing out of the ordinary when they examined Trump’s head, neck, ears, eyes, and other systems. The doctor pointed out that Trump’s right ear has damage from the assassination attempt he had in Pennsylvania last year.
“Robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and general physical function” was the assessment of Trump by Dr. Sean Barbabella. “He remains in good health thanks in large part to his active lifestyle.”
He used Trump’s appearances, meetings, and “frequent victories in golf events” to convince us that the president leads a busy lifestyle. Reporters have been assured time and time again by the White House that Trump is an accomplished golfer who has won several tournaments at Florida courses that he owns.
According to Barbabella, the president was diagnosed with diverticulitis—an illness that occurs when tiny sacs form in the walls of the colon—during a colonoscopy conducted last summer. The pouches or sacs are known as diverticuli. It’s normally painless, however it can occasionally induce bleeding and discomfort.
The paper also mentioned that the president underwent cataract surgery, although it didn’t say when.
The document states that President Trump is in good mental and physical health and can fulfill his responsibilities as commander-in-chief and secretary of state.
