Trump's 'I Love Milwaukee' Charm Offensive After GOP Blunder

Less than seven days after allegedly calling Milwaukee “horrible” in a meeting with House Republicans, former president Trump professed his admiration for the city on Tuesday.

Here in Racine, a community 30 miles south of Milwaukee, Obama told the throng, “I love Milwaukee.”

The Republican National Convention will be held in Milwaukee this summer, according to Trump, and he claimed it was his decision.

“I was the one that picked it,” the ex-president stated. Some people are dishonest. ‘Oh, he doesn’t like Milwaukee,’ they say. Milwaukee is a truly wonderful city. We must address the crime, I urged. It is common knowledge. It’s my choice to represent Milwaukee, but you must ensure an honest election.

As a result of the Democrats’ “terrible candidate” Joe Biden, who “doesn’t know where he is” and “has no clue,” Trump said that the Democrats are dishonest.

“I recently told you how much I love Milwaukee in a meeting with you and roughly ten congressmen. He stated that was the only thing they mentioned.

An insider claims that the ex-president referred to Milwaukee as “horrible” while going on a tirade about crime rates and purported election integrity at a Thursday closed-door meeting with House Republicans on Capitol Hill.

It was later confirmed by multiple Wisconsin congressional representatives that Trump had used the word “horrible” to describe Milwaukee in relation to elections and crime. During an interview with AWN, Republican Representative Derrick Van Orden clarified that Trump was “specifically referring to crime in Milwaukee” rather than any particular community. A lot of the 2020 election theories involving Trump and his associates revolved around this city.
