James Biden Breaks Silence: Denies Brother's Involvement in Business Deals

On Wednesday, James Biden informed investigators from the House Republican investigation that his brother, President Joe Biden, had no hand in any of his business dealings.

James Biden began his anticipated hours-long closed-door session with MPs with a 10-page opening statement that AWN got. Biden attempted to establish a clear distinction between his brother and his decades-long business dealings. The president’s brother was summoned to testify by House Republicans as part of their extensive impeachment investigation into Joe Biden. The investigation has mostly concentrated on deals that were negotiated by the brother and son of Joe Biden, Hunter Biden.

I have been involved in several business endeavours for the past half-century. Joe Biden has always maintained a completely disinterested stance and has never held any kind of financial stake in such endeavours. Not a soul. During his testimony before the Oversight and Judiciary Committees, James Biden made it clear that he had never requested his brother to act officially on behalf of anyone—not even himself or my business colleagues.

James Biden has been under increasing scrutiny for his financial dealings in recent years, but he has failed to publicly address the media’s relentless coverage of the topic. As part of his pitch to work at Americore, James Biden emphasised his ties to his brother, according to a recent AWN investigation. One former Americore official further stated that Biden mentioned giving his brother shares in the company.

In his opening statement, James Biden attempted to put some space between himself and the allegations by assuring investigators that he had always depended on his own abilities, judgement, and personal connections in his business endeavours, rather than relying on his status as Joe Biden’s brother.

He asserted that anybody who have spoken or believed differently were either misinformed, incorrect, or just untruthful.

Concerning his time spent working for Americore, he went on to say that Joe Biden “played no role, was not involved with, and received no benefits from my work with Americore.”

Now Republicans will presumably spend hours disproving his statements in an effort to find proof that Joe Biden’s family’s business dealings were involved in governmental acts performed when he was president or vice president.

“In my opinion, there is a mountain of circumstantial evidence that Joe Biden was financially benefiting from the brand sales that Hunter and Joe were involved in. Therefore, we will determine whether that is accurate. “That’s our reason for being here,” Rep. William Timmons (R-S.C.) informed reporters during a brief interval in the interview on Wednesday.

Even some Republicans in Congress have voiced their disapproval of the investigation, saying that Republicans have failed to present incontestable proof that Biden committed a crime. Some Republicans think the inquiry has found embarrassing evidence, especially regarding Biden family members, but it hasn’t found an offence serious enough to warrant impeachment.

Democrats on the committee denied that the allegations that James Biden had implicated his brother in his business dealings were relevant to the impeachment investigation, which is based on the theory that Joe Biden had a hand in and profited from his family’s financial dealings.

Democratic Oversight Committee leader Jamie Raskin (D-MD) told reporters, “It’s time for Chairman Comer and the Republicans to fold up the circus tent.” Ms. Raskin is from Maryland.
